The partners

A number of key stakeholders are working together to deliver a lasting social, cultural and economic legacy after London 2012.

The project is being led by the London Development Agency (LDA), working with:

  • central and local Government
  • the Greater London Authority
  • the five host boroughs – Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest
  • the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation and the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority
  • the Olympic Development Agency (ODA), whose remit is to develop and deliver the infrastructure and venues

A 17-strong consortium is working with the LDA on a legacy masterplan to coordinate the design and interconnections between all the new homes, parkland, schools, health centres and infrastructure that will be needed.

While this work is progressing we want to hear from entrepreneurs and visionary investors with ideas that complement our vision and have that elusive ‘wow’ factor.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in a new urban quarter – make the most of it.
